"Current Events/Oil Slicks is my running commentary on current world events. The oil slicks churn up the Delaware river with L.N.G. and oil tankers. The federal budget pie being mis-appropriated by pork-barrel, boogie board riding lobbyists. Dolphins hung up in drift nets as personnel water craft jet by. The Capitol dome as a child’s dribble sand castle. Gas price scalpers blind Justice with 30 weight wisdom. The Gerrymandering SUV rolls over the little guys voting rights. The Frisbees tossed become clay pigeons where a budget surplus becomes national debt, the middle class and retirement funds take a hit. While shooting for the War on Terror, shotgun-toting oil slicks take out Liberty and the Bill of Rights. It is all fun in the sun." - Ken Mabrey -
