“Crusin’ the Beach is my attempt to capture that sun-burnt , sunset world of kids trolling the shore roads for one another. They are hanging out, checking each other out, while overhead an airborne moto-crossser jumps this evening parade. Where would we be without Picasso at the beach? There he is bearing a beach umbrella above his wife. Oedipus kneels while being riddled by the Sphinx." - Ken Mabrey -
