become fish eyes, which in turn become mermaid scales. Brittle stars clamber over
sunken rails bestridden by sea urchins. Electric schools of neon flash by, revealing a mermaid’s smile floating above a scuba diver’s cadmium yellow flippers and camera. She teases him with prawns never barbi bound." - Ken Mabrey -
